Wrote this while I was kind of tweaking, by no measure am I a poet, just wanted to see if this was worth developing further, and any other thoughts on it are greatly appreciated.
This is the first and only piece of poetry I have written in my 16 years of life, I am not exactly literarily inclined ☠️

He was pacing in a small, locked room,
unable to answer a single prayer
because He’d been sued for impersonating himself.
His eyes were cataracts of lost,
His lips were stitched shut
by theologians and revolutionaries alike.
He handed me a featherless quill
and said, “Write the truth
as if it were a crime,
for that is how it will be read.”```
