This is truly so beautifully written
And what I love about it most is it is somewhat relatable for me

And I live the rhymes as well, they don't seem out of place , like they're natural
||I mostly write in free verse because whenever I try to actively rhyme smth it feels too out of place||

This deserves to be on the starboard imo

Thank you so much, that really means a lot. I poured a lot of what I’ve been feeling into this one, so knowing it connected with you makes it even more meaningful. And yeah, I totally get what you mean about rhymes I usually just let them come naturally too, otherwise they feel forced. Free verse is powerful in its own way though, would love to read something of yours too if you’re down to share
