We usually complain that things take time to heal,
And then we want to relive the moments we have sealed.
This universe, the cosmos, it's just an art,
And it's complex, like human emotions and the heart.
Sometimes things break, sometimes they shatter,
From those, pickup the parts that truly matter.
However, why not take the broken pots, stick them with gold?
We'll be able to then relive, what secrets those things hold?
It will look gorgeous, way better than good,
And we'll realise sometimes, things are better off in a spoiled mood.
Embrace all the weeds, and all the flowers you find,
Because they'll each be a memory of their kind.
Kintsugi is the Japanese art of mending broken potteries with gold, so I got inspired from it and wrote a poem about embracing your flaws and turning them into strengths, just like pot's cracks are filled with gold which makes them further strong and beautiful too
