#What Remains After The Glow

the ending ties it all together, very well done.
i would suggest working on some areas to make it hit harder
the stanzas 3-6 are chef's kiss, also the line "it's strange how absence can still illuminate something"
i really like it
also i meant the first stanza but i read it wrong, it's perfectly fine
I don't have extensive comments, but I would like to say:
I enjoy the way the last line of the first stanza and the first two lines of the second stanza set up the light imagery that is engaged with more strongly in stanzas 6-8. I would have liked it if the middle section (3-5) had expanded on some of this imagery.
As the other commenter has said I find "absence can still illuminate" to be an excellent reflection in itself and think it shows deep engagement in thought with the theme.
omg i havent opened discord for a few days, but thank youuu!!!
@crystal river
It is so beautiful, thanks for sharing. I'm glad I read it. Everything doesn't always end with a loud sound. Sometimes it is the whispers. ✨
YESSS!!!
also, thank youuuuuuu!!
I loved your poetry, it's beautiful ✨
I'd like to read more if you have posted
ived been trying to imitate someone's writing style here
and ived been trying to work it out fufufu
there is a certain darkness to this poem that I dont see other poets encapsulate, I love this.
@cold drum could I add you and talk to you in dms when you have a moment?
sure!! ill add you here on dc
Ooo wow this is lovely, I love the story it tells, it's quite down to earth
Not every separation Ends with hatred and resentment, sometimes it's peaceful and all that remains is the aching feeling is that something is missing
I love how you portrayed it
The title is also really good
"what remains after the glow"
Lovely poem
