I'm the outsider in a realm of lies
Nobody truly sees or likes me,
Coz what they wear is a perfect disguise

Hi, I am lie
Truth rejects validation, upholds anger
"I love you"?
Maybe, But...
"I'm fine", laughs in corner

Hi, I am truth,
I break hearts and burn bridges,
Not coz I want to,
But coz I don’t know how to stay quiet

Hi, I am lie,
They dress me up in pretty words,
"I’m happy," "I’ll change," "Forever,"
And I let them, coz they need me.

Hi, I am life,
I walk with truth in one hand and lies in the other,
Coz without lies,
they'd break too soon,
And without truth,
they'd never grow.
Nothing lasts, yet everything lingers
So when I ask....
"Is there any value to this thing we call living?"
Will you tell me the truth, or will you lie?
