It is an honor!!!!
-# if you have any questions I am happy to help you but don't boost my ego too much hehe
Lol alright, I just want to know how you write such a deep story. How do you prepare to write something like this, or do you just go with the flow?
Pixbo, thank you.
I have read a lot of your poetry in the past, and i watched progress over the months.
But this...
this has given my a vibe i have yet to encounter in the world outside of poetry.
truly, lovely.
I come up with the name first, that gives me a motif. Then I think of the rhyme scheme I want to be using, and I sketch out a rough outline of the plot in my head. The rest comes naturally. (:
I am actually very similar
Wonderful! @frigid sleet has just pregressed to level 4!
Thank you blitzzzzzzzzzzzz (I love you)
ate and left no crumbs pixboo
I think I just need to tell more a story like you. Ill try that and then ping you when I have finished it if that's alright?
Yessss do it
the stuff I've read lately is blowing my mind, soo many great works lately
and surely this is one of them
Holy smokes this looks insane
Ill have to read it
Eventually eh
Wonderful! @fluid ridge has just pregressed to level 36!
Yeah yeah
Hehehehehehehehehe
"And who'd play if they could only lose?"
I cant stop thinking about this line bro
So amazing
Thank you thank you
This poem deserves so many more likes π
This is probably one of best poems here
@fading karma
Okay, I read the comments and other people's views on your poem, and I must say, you didnβt disappoit
The mirror doesnβt seem to see, and instead, she chooses to shriek at me
and yet, is it the mirror that shrieks, or is it the reflection that refuses to stay silent?
Your words feel less like ink on a page and more like something alive, something writhing between sleep and waking, pressing against the fabric of reality with just enough force to leave a crack
The duskborn ghost, it treads astray
And so do we, as readers, wandering through your haunted manse of time, through spiraling staircases that lead nowhere, through puppet houses where the announcer laughs alone
Thereβs no clear path, no guiding hand, only doors that appear and vanish at will
Is it poetry or is it purgatory?
You do not merely describe despair, you trap us in it
βAnd another day beginsβ
Again and again, like a bell tolling in an empty town, like the dull thud of a heartbeat that refuses to quit, even when the body has long surrendered
I almost wish I could reach in and stop it, force the loop to break, silence the echoesπ
But no, this is the nature of limbo, isnβt it?
"The broken dove sits in the tree, and her rotten body sings to me"
There is something uniquely cruel about your use of decay, not as an end, but as a state of existence, the lifeless is never truly lifeless, the dead never fully gone
The bird rises, the ghost lingers, the past refuses to be buried
Is death ever the conclusion, or just another room in the house?
"Who cares if things will ever last, if just another day begins?"
And there it is, that quiet surrender wrapped in a question, posed like an afterthought but heavy enough to crack the ground beneath it
Maybe you are asking
Maybe you already know the answer
Maybe the question is the point
And then you end with,
The hourglass is blind! Do you not see, or do you refuse its apathy? You are but dust in the wind. And I am the thunderstorm!
A very smart move, u leave just enough room for the reader to decide, is this defiance or futility? A declaration of power, or the last desperate gasp of a man drowning in time? The blind hourglass, the unseen force, the refusal to submit or the inability to escape, you do not give answers, only open doors (multiple possible meanings)
A weaker poem would have chosen a side
You let the storm speak for itself
Honestly, one of the best poems I've read in this server
I really enjoyed reviewing and critiquing this one, well writtenπ»
Holy high hells and balls of fire! Never could I have expected such an elaborate and lovely analysis of my work! You honor me! Ughhhh I wish I could express how much this means to me!
you are amazing
Oooooooh and you got it so well too
This is a beautiful confirmation to see that I actually managed to get the frenzy across that I endeavored to convey
I love this!
Thank you
Just thank you

Holup holup who cooked here- lemme read
Such an incredible poem to have been written and such a joy i got to read it! I am speechless by the utter intended circling backs again and again. The overall poem feels like a prophecy that's been divided into parts and are told in the beginning of each episode. I absolutely devoured this poem!
Right???
Next poem when?
It's such a unique piece, this one didn't feel repeatative after the thousands of poems I've read and the tens of poem i review everyday
Thanks!
