The snake the rake the spare the wraith BAHAHAHAHAHA I love this line so much

#

It tickles my brain so much

#

Birthmark on the shoulder of a thought is brutal but beautiful

#

An aching, beautifully gentle loathing

#

I love this poem, it feels like a rift between two family members, or a letter to a past self

#

Either way it's gorgeous

#

blister like a song bless

#

I love the way you write I seriously can't get enough

*the idea i had

in mind was actually

unrequited love*

hardy marsh
# tawny sluice

i want to say things to you that would be rejected by the automod

#

anyway

#

the point is that the speaker is actually addressing themselves

#

i can't write about romantic love without incorporating some self-loathing

#

the message behind the poem, ig, is "why are you so stupid for falling in love and condemning yourself to pain?"

#

bc the speaker thinks they are completely worthless and doesn't deserve love anyway

wow i loved ‘the snake, the rake, the spare, the wraith’

‘the birthmark on the shoulder of a thought is blotted out by a blue, intended breath’ so beautiful

it’s very beautifully written

Okay, for me this seems like an ode to an unpolished diamond covered by the rubble of perfumes and muck of bleeding faith.

Just a tortured person who is left to carry the husk to the finish line and never knew what race to participate in.

AND THE RHYMES DKDJDJSJS THE RHYMES TOO, INTERNAL ONES?! CONSONANT ONES?! KSKSKSKKSKS

I LOVE YOU MORE RAIN
