Welcome to my echo- Silence.
I lost my voice
I cannot, do not, speak for myself.
* Im Speechless by design.*
Tongue tied by a kiss so sweet.
*These lips can utter no further.*
Language is lost on me,
*I am but a rabbit learning hopscotch.*
Silence, the ultimate usurper,
I am a failed hat trick, a rabbit unboxed.
/
I inherited a disease,
One disquieting, mute of me.
*I survive in a mimes scheme,*
*In a world no one else sees.*
:
*Reading lips is risque-risky*
If I eye a request to steal-steel my resolve,
What does **”It”** take to prepare?
*An Egomaniac’s lips? Kleptomaniac’s hands?*
Pneumonia engulfs my being,
*Im drowning in what I cant, and wont say.*
Now normally, I hate, hate
Hate.
The phrase, fight fire with fire.
The truth of the matter, now never has burnt brighter.
The oxygen I breathe stings, the words I say next,
double the ire.
Behind closed doors, we’re surrounded by the web;
Trapdoor spiders.
*This is how I lost my voice.*
And You, yours.
We have no control over ourselves.
As the shackled, stable we sit, we eat.
With a hoarse-horse message, unanswered.
*To be cattle.*
I lost my voice.
