Woah
Magnum Opus
and i love the change from "money-change" to "changing events"
you've got quite the creative eye
good way with words, wordplay, twisty meanins
Recognition, at last 🖤
exactly! and i can't think of a single one of your pieces that doesn't do that - fluctuating between various different scenes that shouldn't seem connected, but become associated thanks to your diction
and just the general way you write
you have this very specific voice
huh? lol
of course
i do enjoy your stuff
always interesting to see what you come up with
i love unique perspectives
and fun, different ways to approach things
well this made my day
It's my best personality trait.
we'll make it bigger some day
and i dont think i've heard you say my name til now
-# oooh my bad
lolol
This was a crazy read. I didn't know words could be manipulated to express emotion and meaning
Wonderful! @hasty cypress has just pregressed to level 1!
I sound like stupid but it kinda opened my mind up
its a monologue, I feel yeah
Im usually not a fan of one word titles but this one really is effective
Lovely wordplay, as mentioned by rain, this piece is powerful in terms of its ability to protray a single word as multiple instances. It really doesn encapsulate the idea of change.
Clever!!!
Of course haha, that's the way emotion plays out. You try to stay away from thinking about the insecurities but it just comes right back to haunt you when you try to evade it and never admit its prescence but its apparent to the world.
The value of change (in both ways) is one that the speaker cant accept but will have to..and the wordplay is just clever!
Bond as a financial bond double meaning is intentional i assume? As in something that had the potential to be a long term investment was squandered as loose change. This is a very cohesive poem; it is very rich with meaning.
