#A Poem About Sadness

In the green valleys where all the flowers
Love each other and where the sun
Brightly rises his golden spawn,
Enticing the morning skies
With burning sensations—
I wonder about sadness.
Why does sadness or a pinch,
Of it live inside of us all?
Where does it go?
Does it stay behind the faces
Of the blue irises?
Or does it tiptoe between
The crevices of your dreams?
Do the violets know
When your tears slowly drizzle
Down a riverbed of melancholy,
Above rainy dark clouds?
Do you go back and cup your tears up?
Okay, for others, they will probably say no
And keep that no sealed forever
Like an envelope.
Why not let your heart fathom the blues?
Look around you!
Mother Nature is your oyster of clues—
Just let your wild emotions embrace
The wildflowers—and twirl their colorful beams,
Freely in the air—so they can open
The small chambers of your ears.

I like this. The rhyme scheme confuses me a little bit towards the end and “spawn” is a little jarring but otherwise this is really nice

Admiring mother nature and then suddenly thinking about why sadness exists and then acknowledging that it's within us all and then wondering if it resides in nature too. It's free Verse so let's not talk about flow ╮(╯_╰)╭ although imo rhyming this kinda poem is somewhat amazing (nah jk I just like to read the poems as nursery books ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ)

I love loveeeee this and how it makes me feel that everything around us has a meaning and something to offer. It's like only if you seek out knowledge, then you can find it, within you, or in mother nature or anyone/anything, you have to try. I love how this poem talks about embracing our emotions.
Just let your wild emotions embrace
the wildflowers
And twirl their colorful beams, freely in the air— so they can open, the small chambers of your ears
This gives out a sense freedom, like when you let yourself be free and embrace things, accept it then you find the real meaning of life and happiness. bunnypeek
It's a good read but I'm still in love with ode to tulips

a very nice poem-
this is irony on the symbolism of sun
crevices of your dreams? --- i think yours should be ours

what is the violet representation of?

What are Above rainy dark clouds? is this past memories, if riverbed is the thought, than it is memories, as we can see layers

it got good entry and exit and wonderful suggestion.
