sit out, and watch those mad storms come a'whizzing by
the heavy-weight clouds go to race like chasing jet planes
with their taut stretch like muscles in the skin of the sky
they won't last long, their watery work-out will fade to grey

sit out, 'cause above, the thunder's boiling and bubbling
it's a witches cauldron, listen with your ears to hear their
contagious laughter, its lightning that they're summoning
with toads and roaches and thin, long strands of girl's hair

sit out, in this city, the weather changes like a TV channel
and TV channels inside are spewing lies in weather reports
they said it would be sunny, "come wear dresses and flannel!"
who needs TV when that sky warns of weather of all sorts
