Do you hear it?
The sound of silence.
I sit in a dark room,
while my mind takes me to even darker places.
Dark places where there’s no silence.
Where the voices overlap and conquer.
Loved ones hear the silence, never the chaos.
Can I be saved? Can I be honest?
Questions I asked and now I am enlightened.
God can save me and to him I can be honest.
My hope in humans have long been lost, never been understood.
Deceit, dreams of being accompanied shattered.
Dreams of being understood, I deluded myself until they were shattered.
For now I know, I will forever remain alone.
Dreams shattered, hope lost.
God save me, for I am honest to none but you.
