Perhaps this is the poem that broke me, because you drawn such a beautiful painting for such a, for me, sad subject matter. Loss is something not to be taken lightly, and in thi sense the cat became a metaphor for not only a lover, but something that you've cherished and agonise about. In this, then, with the gorgeous diction and simple typography, you've drawn perhaps an apt description on how loss feels like. But again it goes both ways: maybe the cat's missing you too, maybe it wanted to go on an adventure somewhere but it got homesick and now is trying to get back to you. It's beautiful
