The current whispers stories as it moves,
Leading me where coral dreams lie still,
A memory of colors left to fade.
The tide swishes and swashes away;
My memories fade from today.
The harbor waits, a silent witness there,
As tides erase what once was etched in sand.
Yet still, the coral clings beneath the waves.
The shimmer of the shells slowly fades
As the sun sinks beneath the waves,
Its drowning turning the ocean red.
In the twilight, the harbor breathes in calm,
As red reflections dance on fading light.
The current carries whispers in the dark.
The moon gives way to darkness,
The night gaining calmness.
But even in the stillness, currents hum,
Beneath the harbor’s gaze, the coral sleeps.
The tides may rest, but silence holds its weight.
Fish swim below the surface,
Fins flapping about,
Entering the currents
While the night carries out.
In the harbor's depths, the secrets swirl around,
As currents cradle life that moves unseen.
The coral listens, holding stories close.
The currents are soothing;
They rock the boats,
Drowning the whispers in the air
From when you might speak.
