Rhyme schemes follow many styles, same with syllable counts, beautiful words are almost always included though! AABB ABAB and ABAC rhyme schemes are all pretty common, and then there's types of poems that follow a rhyme scheme like sonnets
Many poets also write in free verse which rather than rhymes, often feature other poetical devices, or slant rhymes
