Inky Rain
Rain, glue for my hair and skin
Each drop like a refreshing drain
Pouring the forgiveness for my sins
Ink rewrites my name in this rain

The cure for my everlasting brutality
Purifying my soul in this teary solitary
Shivering yet I’m in a leisurely haze
Inky rain remains as washing the pain.

A simple portrait that takes a naturalistic stance when it comes to the act of purifying oneself through the heavens, of everything that is drained away by the great clouds.

I believe, in that specific case, that this poem had the potential to be a little longer, so that the message could be better conveyed through a more impactful ending.

Hard to say whether just two stanzas completely spoiled the importance of this text, but I would definitely say that the peremptoriness of the theme makes it all the more beneficial.

I had some time to think about it, and I was wrong: the structure of this one is exceptional, especially when seen in conjunction with its sister poem. I was late to catch on.

The message is now more playful, impactful and clear. I agree that they can work both as mutual or distant reflections, depending on how you analyze them, which is a benefit.
