Really nice and visual — I could practically feel the entire thing as though I was a person in the poem.
Every detail in the first stanza kind of taps into the sense of touch — it’s really nicely executed too. My personal favorite part was “She clings to satin/like a whispering skin,/pressed against the night.” It’s just so tangible and visual.
A short poem that has a lot of well thought-out details packed into it. Loved it 🩷

This is Impressionism in poetry form 💜

this is such a beautifully intimate piece! i love how you capture a quiet, almost secret moment that feels so raw and genuine. the way you describe her with "satin like a whispering skin" gives this really delicate, tactile sense, almost like you can feel the softness of the scene. theres something so vulnerable about the simplicity here-
the ending feels so perfect, with that sense of acceptance, like even in imperfection, everything is just right. tt makes me think of how true beauty often lies in these small, unpolished moments. great work, really!

I don't have any commentary. A simple but nice poem.

New to this group, so hey!!!

I just wanted to say that this is beautiful in its seemingful simplicity. I especially really love you sentencing - line 3 and the last one really stand out sentencing wise. Beautiful
