This reminds me of a serious kind of love only true faithful people to one another give. The poem is straightforward about being blunt that they are not a love song writer but a down to earth person. They can't promise them the world but they can promise them their heart, making this poem even more sweet. How soft laughter and quiet moments alone go a long way. How people who are seriously committed to a relationship always shine more brightly than those who only look at beauty and what's not on the inside, <3. Keep it up. I love this poem.

oh to be loved like this-
this poem is like a quiet, heartfelt vow that feels so genuine and pure and beautiful and adorable. i absolutely love how it rejects the usual clichés—stars, diamonds, and picture perfect fantasies—and instead offers something so much more special and meaningful moments. its like you’re saying, "i cant give you the universe, but i can give you me, in all my imperfect, honest ways." the way you talk about laughing through the mess and holding on through storms is so touching. its like you’re offering a partnership, not just a romance, which feels so much deeper. it talks about the kind of love that doesn't need grand gestures to be true—just the kind that shows up, every day, no matter what; that is by your side always supporting you. this is so beautifully written omfg dk how many times i've said that but this has to be one of my favorite poems 😭

and honestly? the promised that you, as the poet, made here are just so much better than the other cliche promises. they're the simplest efforts, or bare minimum as we say, yet the most powerful and beautiful promises.

i especially love the part where you say "i will give you.....
the steady presence of someone who stays."

and "Instead, i offer you the comfort of knowing
That even when i stumble, i am yours."

and "I promise to laugh through the beautiful
mess we create."

most people don't get it but these are the only promises that is worth staying for. they mean everything to the other person.
