This reminds me of how dreams can be made inside ones brain but only if one takes action will it come true. It also reminds me of how dreams are scattered around like fallen soldiers. It also reminds me of how delicate dreams are and how those dreams can turn into memories sometimes bittersweet or things to be smiled upon retold when they become elders and maybe will rekindle that yound person their telling it to to complete the dream that the elder started but did not complete.

Interesting metaphor you've made in the beginning! Quite myserious too

I saw this on the starboard and wanted to drop a comment because this is truly my favorite kind of short poem — skillfully made, visual free verse.
There’s a great opening stanza, with one heck of an interesting metaphor and an equally interestin personification of the notepad.
I like how simple this is in terms of structure and vocabulary, especially because the title makes me think the poem is about an experiment in quantum computing (which is, to people without experience in that field, not something simple — i thought that made for a nice contrast)

#

The ending is also quite powerful — i love the combination of the words “dream” and “submits”.

#

I really liked this

damn this piece has a lot of powerful imagery and emotion packed into it. the notepad "grinning" is such a clever detail—it brings a sense of irony, like it's taunting you with the answers you’re trying to find. the poem feels like you’re wrestling with self doubt and the challenge of keeping hope alive. that last line, about believing or else the dream submits, ties it all together in such a meaningful way. great job, really!

When you try over and over again and you’re ready to quit, that little voice will always be there to say “stay”
