The image of a candle burning with desire is particularly striking. It shows the passion and dedication that goes into writing.

The lines about seizing the day and not wasting time reflect the urgency and determination of a writer who's in the zone.

Perfectly condenses the author's fullness while contemplating the formation of what is to come, where, in the absence of a conclusion, only art remains as a muse.

#

It also reflects the sense of belonging that accompanies us in the progress of intensifying our recognition of the art we build. It resonates with most of us on this server.

@indigo portal I am so sorry for not reading this I completely forgot about it!

Yuuuuuup another form of looking at writing. Even if I don't have that much experience in creative writing, I still somehow relate to this😂

Incase you have this idea of making a part 3, an idea for the part where you use a lot of imperative language could be "Don't be so hard on yourself." Personally, that's the No.1 phrase that people keep telling me.

You could add it in as you telling yourself that, only to later continue it with "But then I won't reach my goal." Or something like that. I feel like people will really catch that

I’m loving some of your word choices in this one; “In moody hours my light flicks on/Like a candle ignited with desire;”, “The words overflow, as it consumes me whole.”. Compelling, interesting, creative & attractive to the ear.

It’s carrying some of the same energy and mood as the prequel. I feel it’s building on the feeling expressed at the end of Writing I — of being unwilling or incapable to stop writing.
I’ve definitely detected themes of perfectionism, determination to succeed, and frustration in this poem. Sums up an average writing experience (for me at least!!)

Imo, an insightful look into the mind of an artist who is subjected to their creativity. Well done 🫶🫶
