This is really nice, I love how easy it reads. Also the last line about untying a wet knot really connects well to your fourth line that talks about rain—very satisfying.
Just a thought / question about the topic: do you put actually have these doubts about marriage? It’s ok if the question is too personal, I was just wondering.
hey thank u so much for the feedback! As of my opinion, yes, obviously I've put it to the extreme in my poem to convey the right message, but well I am definitely a bit hesitant when it comes to the thought of marriage. for example the thought of giving up your last name is just horrifying. I know one can still keep theirs, but oftentimes it becomes an issue in the relationship (I speak from experience, lol). also the thought of binding with only 1 person forever?! honestly, i have not met anyone i could imagine that with so far, hence my position on the topic. perhaps itll change when i meet the right person. but as of now, i would not get married for a fortune. (:
Yeah, I think it’s good that you recognize what it is you do and don’t want. I know for sure that I’m going to be very careful about who I decide to invest in (idk why I made it sound like a business transaction but ykwim).
LMAOOO yes exactly! like if i DO eventually get married, he's gotta be 101% what I want. I won't settle for less.

omg i love this, the "wet knot" line hits hard ❤️
really makes you question big choices in life
thanks love!!
Wonderful! @blissful galleon has just pregressed to level 7!
The fact that you manage to resonate, with conspicuous helplessness, with the virtues of loving someone and having to deal considerably with the nuances that a passion can create is an indication of your talent.
As far as I can see, this is one of the principles by which you apparently consolidate this longing for conciliation, as well as your search for the one who can satisfy you romantically - if I'm wrong, please, correct me.
To be able to touch on this idea of establishing a bond, aware that it can be dismantled, and turn this into poetry, is quite an effort. But I see that you manage to do it naturally. A talent, a gift, whatever. That's excellent.
Yes exactly! You never fail to decipher my poetry❤️
