sometimes holding on a person is far more painful than letting them go. Slowly but eventually the wounds will heal, the tears will dry, and the memories will fade. I like this piece specially the theme of it ✨
Thank you, I’m glad you liked it. 😊
Damn a heartbreak piece. The last two lines is exceptionally painful here, showcasing that if you don't let go of someone who is just not for you, you'll be the one to end up getting hurt. Felt 🥲💕👌
Thank you so much Jane 🌹
Ok quite short and to the point
I like this one a lot, the last two lines hit hard
Thank u dear 😊
Last two lines are by far my favorite. Short, but it gets to the point. Good job!
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed reading it 😊
"and in the end? we all drowned in the same old sorrows." very deep if you reflect upon it for long enough </3
damnn the poem beautifully explores the complicated feelings that come with lost love and longing for someone
i like the imagery of trying to map the universe and struggling to tame a "stray cat" , it creates a vivid picture of the complexities and challenges in ur relationship
and the lines abt making half hearted promises and concealing the person from the world add an element of mystery and plotting(kinda
and the idea of drowning in the same old sorrows and the image of cleaning oneself with tears are both powerful and poignant expressions of the intense pain and loneliness that comes with heartache☹️
