@granite umbra
As a rain lover
. The imagery ON POINT. "Enough writing this poem" was the most relatable lmaoo.

Wonderful! @ebon spindle has just pregressed to level 3!
For the knife of addiction pierced my skin, my heart burned in love for being a reader rather than a writer for the very first time. Pray my pardon, thy shower of poetry made me feel alive.
i love the ending specially, where you leap into the rain; it ties everything together beautifully, making it a poetic celebration of life amidst chaos. great work!
Ok, I’m officially your fan.
Thank u dear, I’m glad you liked it. 😊
:)
I love this so much.
The imagery is so realistic yet at the same time it's as if in a dream. The 'tip's made me feel as though it were actually rain and I could just hear it if I try hard enough. As I have said before, your way of words are so beautiful and wonderful for readers to read. At the 'A humble poet trying to live hundred lifetimes in one short little life.' I can't help but imagine the 'hundred lifetimes' as each raindrop, some plentiful with experiences and moments, some smaller droplets, still a gem in it's own way. As well as 'one short little life' as this moment it's raining. And the ending just ends the poem so nicely. Oh and the way the city was described, it just can't get even better, but it does. I feel as though I'm starting to get obsessed at this rate
Let me share a secret ~ whenever you give feedback, I always see that poem as successful because I know you only write it when you truly felt something while reading 😅
I'm ded half the time to be fair
, but I'm honored
😅 why ?
I try to look around for inspiration for poems half the time, and I just sit staring at a wall doing nothing the other half. But I do read your poems when they are posted tho
Love reading them
🤔 why do you need inspiration ? just write whatever comes to your mind..then you can rearrange it later.
Aww, thank you so much ❤️
True
, but when logical statistics are in my mind, I have no idea how to work that into poetry
Poetry can be logical 😅 isn’t it ?
Just write
Logical or ill-logical
Doesn’t matter
makes sense, I'll try that then

The air is thick with the scent
of damp & dust,
A murmur of thunder in the distance,
A growl from the belly of,
fluffy marshmallows up there.
People shuffle faster, heads down,
eyes darting to the horizon,
waiting for the first strike. I really like the first couple stanzas
quite vivid imagery you painted here or in this one specifically
Eyy this is an amazing poem! I love this so much!
Thank you 😊
I am so late, but this is so good!
once again love the scenery!!
