Hoping that the stars might make it right.
I love you and sometimes words lack,
I love you truly - to the moon and back.

I daydream of you, trace your face in the sky,
You’re far away, but in my heart you're nearby.
In my mind I keep thoughts in a stack,
If you knew them you'd love them - to the moon and back.

Your eyes shine bright, like stars they glow,
But you don't see me, though I hope so.
I send my love out, never slack,
Hoping you’ll feel it - to the moon and back.

In your world, I’m just a fleeting glance,
A distant star without a chance.
But my heart's a rocket, on its own track,
Flying for you - to the moon and back.

So here I am, still wishing on a star,
Loving you from near and far.
My heart beats faster, click clack
Loving you always—to the moon and back.

Maybe just a personal dialect, but the active voice would sound better.

Isto fazme lembrar daquele desenho animado "adivinha o quanto eu gosto de ti - as aventuras da lebrinha cor de mel"

Tb me faz lembrar aquela msc do andré sardet:
