damm you write novels too nice, this was quite good
There’s something oddly pleasing about the psychedelic feeling that inhumane darkness ensconces you in 👌🏻
@fiery pivot
Heh thanks
you know your poetry is powerful when it disturbs someone else
overall this was an awesome read Jane!!!
It's actually a short excerpt from my novel The Retrospection.
*It's actually a
short excerpt from my novel
The Retrospection.*
Also, Thank you!
Thanks to you too, love
oh oh my bad
you are good at this!
@knotty heron ..tis not a poem but-
Okeh wowwwhh, for a moment I thought Juliette Ferras is talking to me. The inner war of letting the worst part of you in wild play or to put it in shackles and in between this, the urge to even save it....omg you have portrayed it so well. if you ever write a novel, I am gonna read it. YOU HAVE MY WORDS!!!...
Thanks a lottt. And I have written a novel. This is an excerpt from that novel
Is it published?! I would love to read it
Not yet. I had to postpon the publishing for reasons. I'll definitely get to you first when its out!
Damnnnnn
This is beautiful, and hauntingly relatable. It’s true, there is something oddly pleasing of being pushed into darkness for so long.
Can you ping me when your book comes out? I’d love to buy a copy. What is it called?
Thanks a bunch! Its called THE RETROSPECTION
@old cosmos
This was oddly comforting in some ways. If this is part of a book you'll be releasing, I'll gladly buy a copy! Your writing is truly one of a kind.
I believe it is that you don't spend time worrying about the fluff, among other reasons.
There's still a lot of fluff here.
I like the question and answer at both ends.
Mmm, interesting. What is it about?
Sci-fi, thriller, dystopian politics
And mystery
Have you published any book before?
No. Its my first
I used to write novels too, but I scrapped all of them. Every single piece of data.
Ok, good luck
I see
Thanks
Also, without the subtext provided by the story, this feels like there's a lot of bloat. I'm sure there would be way better impressions if we had the rest of the story. So... remember to publish your book.
Lmao yeah. There's indeed a lot. I'll keep posting snips like this here sometimes tho.
Went so deep that I forgot it started off as a conversation. I love how it's simple enough to understand well but the use of words still feels powerful. Did I get a little lost about what time we were in in the middle since it changes quite a bit, yes! Might that also have to do with my horrible attention span, probably! Hahaha
You're so dark it's soooo good kudosss✨
Hehe ♡
Thankss
I AM AWESOME RICO THANKS FOR ASKING!
@arctic saffron
Your poem is deeply evocative and poignant, exploring themes of trauma, internal struggle, and the complex relationship with darkness. This is a very intense piece of writing.
Its an excerpt from my book-
Oh, which book?
Its called The Retrospection (tentative)
Nice. That's really great! All the best for the book.
Thanks!
