I loved the middle lines!
I'm glad 🥰
Imma step up mine too ong 👀
nuh uh
For i am,
A connoisseur of agony,
embracing pain,
In the echoes of passion,
where losses gain,
Oh, So darling,
these flames shall not stray,
For in love's eternal dance,
we will find our way.
[ same as what she said ]
This is soo hopeful I love it!
I really like the way you compose your poems and the stanzas you write are unique
Aw so glad you liked it!!
quite nice piece
I love how you use old English type writing , it is interesting . And I love the poem !
You show love as both a desirable "sweetest blood" and a painful "poison ivy." This reflects how love can bring both joy and sorrow. The line "reigned am I-- Thy poison ivy so de riguer" hints at a desire to control or be in control of love's grip. Beautiful poem.
Thank you!
Appreciate it! 🥰
@fading temple
where do you get all of these fancy, beautiful words?????????????
...in the dictionary
i need to read your dictionary 📖
Spectacular again! You never fail to disappoint with your amazing word choices and bright writing style.
though it’s short, I feel like there’s a fair amount of emotion in here; both passion (in the first few lines) and some despair/pain (“Or reigned am I--
Thy poison ivy so de riguer.”; “For a connoisseur of agony I remain--”)
❤️
@slender flicker
Not enough🥲, gorgeous words and a wonderful portrayal of the beauty and anguish that is love, when's my turn for a collab so we can put your others to shame?💜
