wake me with the sounds of calm
let me watch you separate the rice grains and rocks
let me watch the chickens scramble for what's on the ground
let me ask questions about the fire
let me harvest chicken eggs at dawn with you
make me my favorite tea for breakfast
let me watch you carry the heavy like it's featherweight
let me run around and be silly
let me be a child
let me wonder and wander
call my name again and again
and then,
nap with me
wake me with your comfort
scold me
watch the news and teleseryes with me
let's be sleepyheads again
lead me to my bed
let's worship together
protect me.
turn on my nightlight
scratch my back.
and let's do life tomorrow again
let's do it over and over again until i relive what was once peace.
live with me again, please.
