Nice one. Is that a picture of hibiscus? I am unable to figure it out
No, it’s not a picture of hibiscus, that's her portrait. The picture is devoid of face & a defined form cuz you are supposed see (perceive/imagine) her through the poem.
Interesting
Oh I see. Good choice
Thanks 😊
To me it reads as a beautiful love poem, with the speaker truly loving this woman for who she is and all she embodies; the good, the bad, and the ugly. No critiques, just praise ⭐
I am curious as to how it would read if it were gender-swapped
Wonderful! @left flame has just pregressed to level 1!
yayyy level one
The word choice is simply beautiful

That’s a great idea 🤔
But that may sound like I’m just praising myself lol
your poem beautifully captures a journey of introspection and discovery, almost like unraveling layers of identity and experience. the imagery is vivid and evocative, painting a picture of encountering "her" in various forms—both tangible and ephemeral. the repetition of "I have seen her face to face" throughout reinforces this intimate exploration, as if each encounter reveals a new facet of this elusive yet omnipresent "her." great job really!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback. 😊
I truly appreciate your kind words.
