#Taste of an Apple

i love how her simple question about apples becomes this profound metaphor for longing and unfulfilled desires. the cigarette detail is spot-on, too. it adds to the whole "detached yet contemplative" feel of your character. his nonchalant responses, like "why eat the damn thing?" and "oh, shut up," contrast perfectly with the depth of the conversation. and the ending is perfect. the realization that its not about the apple itself but the hunger and the search for something more. it ties everything together so well and leaves a lasting impression. it gives a nice touch of vulnerability to your character.
the entire poem is beautifully written really well done!
Thank you so much for your kind words, they mean a lot to me. It's great to hear that you enjoyed reading it. 😊

This is a very evocative poem with a lot of interesting imagery. The apple can represent many things, depending on the context. In this poem, it could symbolize temptation, forbidden knowledge, or even a simple pleasure. Amazingly written
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed reading it. 😊

I love your poetry
, I might not give feedback that much, but keep on pinging me please, I love reading them. It's the picture it paints in my head, the scenery is beautiful, it's the way your character is so wonderfully portrayed, it's the feeling that seem to have lingered even when I'm done reading it once. I can't seem to just read them once and move on.
