*White face, white tears,
Grotesque syllables, unclean birch pools,
Impales my burning tongue to disbelief
From the outside world.

Your promises fall like confetti,
Illusions melt on the wall, flint lips,
Goldfish, ridiculous rumors evaporate.
Carbon monoxide, disparate heathers:
My glorious sanctuary unmisted.

I breathe: white candles, arrogant water.
A ridiculous future rather daunting
Eyes shrink to disbelief, this old man wears
White shoes, pale and shivering skulls in his pockets.*
