At the moment you asked me what I saw in you
my heart wanted to tell you words I can barely write
I looked into your eyes and saw a glimpse of perfection
your smile was my most precious diamond
neither all the stars in the sky could compare
nor the beauty of the oceans
nor a blooming cherry tree was as sweet
your straight red hair reminded me of the roses I once gave you

There are those who say killing the moon to have the sun is madness
I would destroy the universe to have you as my star
the speed at which my eyes found you in the crowd
felt like lightning striking in the midst of a heavy rain
when you came to talk to me
the flares of love launched into the night skies
I could see the impossible in your eyes
I could rewrite the stars
I don't even know what I felt or feel to this day
perfection couldn't describe you
it never could
my flame was kindled by your loving way
you alone freed me from evils I didn't know how to handle
all this was just your smile
I would do anything to see you smile
from writing the most beautiful poetry in the heavens
the kind Shakespeare or Drummond would not write
to fighting and silencing each of your demons by your side

You were an angel to me and I was the demon
I lived and live a forbidden love
of which I don't care about the consequences
I just want to be yours
I'm just a fool seeking redemption
just to be yours
from the day your eyes turned to me
I wish to change to be perfect for you
And only you
I live and will live our love
my only wish is to be the reason for your smile.
