In the mirror, I see your face,
A flawless reflection, a delicate trace.
I place you high on a pedestal of light,
You glide through life's dance, a perfect sight.

Your words, like whispers of the wind, so precise,
You soothe the storm, no need to entice.
How do you craft such moments divine?
To please without bending, an art so fine.

I stare at my image, fragmented and clear,
Why do I compare, and why do I fear?
I used to boast, to feel somewhat grand,
But knowing you, I understand.

You too are flawed, with smiles and tears,
Anger and joy through the years.
In the mirror, I see you anew,
Not just perfection, but human too.

Why chase the ideal, when truth is bright?
Reality, with its shadows, is a prettier sight.
I am beautiful as I stand, and so are you, my muse,
Flawed yet perfect, with nothing to lose.

In our imperfections, our true selves appear,
Making us more human, our reflections dear.
Mirrors may show what's plain and true,
But the heart knows the depth of me and you.

Ooh I like this. I love that the content is there, but simple and solid.

And I'm obsessed with rhyming, so I like the rhymes. Some of them don't feel fully smooth to me, like line 3 and 4. But it's good.

This is well written, I like the rhyme scheme, it is well written now next step will be adding more abstract imagery, current imagery is very good too, the comparison is great too.
