Strange visions dancing in the night
Some great works of fiction
Others reign, terrors in the night
The focus lies on fanciful future conviction

Most people see these most every sleep
But I lie here different, dozed deep
No fanciful visions frolic in my mind
That is unless I think of you in kind

I know you're different from all others I've met
For such a short time we've known each other, still
I wonder why you make me happier than this silly little pill
Changes you've made and more you'll make yet

I know you're so different when you dance in my head
When you dance in my head so vivid and free
I know that for once I lay happy in my bed
As you dance across my mind you plant a tree
A tree that will flower and bloom and change me

Your smile the clouds in this lucid dreamscape
Darling you are my living escape
A place my mind goes when at rest
When I think of you, that's when I dream best

damn, this poem beautifully shows the emotional impact of having someone special always on ur mind

i like the Imagery and metaphors u used like "dancing in my head" and "planting a tree" , it kinda adds depth to the feelings

and also the repeating phrases like "when I think of u" and "dance in my head" emphasize that this person is constantly in the narrator's thoughts

and the final lines, "u r my living escape," suggests that this person is a source of comfort and refuge for the narrator!

Woah, this is actually so good! You did a great job at envisioning that feeling of love, like the person is almost your own passion. I definitely have never felt that way about a person, but that is what I feel about writing itself
