My vision, this division, I am blind.
This canvas is tinted black.
As Dear World, check this intellect,
It was white with the tint of black.

I see misery—I force them shut,
I see love—I stretch my eyes wide.
I am heartbroken—I go blind,
I foresee another hope—I got light.

I see things that are not allowed:
"The canvas the world paints—in my faint sleep."
I do not see things that I should:
"Am I blind—why do my eyes weep?"

"Is it not my fault to see—what I curse?"
Just a reminder that things need to be changed!
My eyes are like the sun that brightens everything
But lacks the heat to pulverize the wicked.

Back to eyes,
Blind to oblivion, yet all-seeing.
I see the essence.

"It tempts me to join?" or "Threatens me to close them for a sleep!"

When will there be no blight?
It will be a sight of my flight—I think it is..
.
When I am as worthy as Thor to uproot this Yggdrasil
Of my plight.

The imagery of the speaker's blindness and inability to see certain things is really powerful, and the idea of the eyes being "the sun that brightens everything but lacks the heat to pulverize the wicked" is really vivid and evocative

#

The question at the end "When will there be no blight?" is really poignant and thought provoking, and the reference to the Yggdrasil from Norse mythology gives the poem an epic and mythic quality

so yeah i think its a really original and powerful piece for me!
