i wanna write an ethereal type of poem abt my friend but i don’t know how

i wanna write a poem abt my friend that has this type of vibe to it but i’m not sure how to capture that, i want it to have some sort of like angelic feeling, tranquil i want it to be soft & sweet, idk how can someone give me advice on this

Try adding descriptive scenery and really emphasize the “tranquil” and “ethereal” aspects. When writing poems with this vibe i typically find it helpful to start off with a list of words/ideas you’d like to incorporate. If you’d like to dm me I have some pieces I’ve written that you could use as examples! Try using words that really bring out the person you write about, think of it as a story in some ways. Think of one or two unique images to keep as a running metaphor for your friend - a discinct characteristic about them you notice

List some phrases that sound audibly pleasing and remind you of your friend, and references to your friendship you want to make in your poem

Then from these, decide on a form and structure that suits your writing style, and the feel of the poem
