When I was younger I found peace in hope
even when my mom would smoke
now peace is in poetry or some would call it floetry
oh the peace I find in rhymes really does help sometimes
but other times I can never find peace in anything I do
even if I try to
because it was hard to say goodbye to
every lost soul for I am no longer whole
I was young when I lost her to cancer yet I never got an answer
so to me peace was just a word that stopped having a meaning when I became a teen maybe around the age of 15
why was everyone so mean?
or maybe I just need some caffeine.

Peace often feels like a distant dream, an oasis in the desert that I've yet to stumble upon. Despite my best efforts, the chaos of life seems to follow me wherever I go, leaving me longing for a sense of calm that never quite arrives. It's as if peace is a puzzle I can't seem to solve, a destination I can't quite reach. In moments of quiet reflection, I can't help but wonder if true peace is simply beyond my grasp, forever out of reach.
