Gone are the days that my competition consist of one man...
Now I'm up against two very bright poets. My pen can't compare.
DONT COMPARE URSELF POETICA
ur work is just as artistic as the rest
My eyes were woozy until I read a BOMBSHELL OF A NOTIFICATION FROM YOU.
Thanks for kicking back some energy.
pleasure is all mine 🥰🥰🥰🥰
ill read this poem in a bit
Aww thanks that's really sweet, though authentic expressions shouldn't be compared :))
DAMN?
my GOD this one goes hard
the meaning it builds on continuously, and the personification of the different aspects really bring this poem to life
it has a way to provoke strong emotions in the reader whilst also encouraging them to think about just how deep this really goes
it reminds me a bit of my own pieces in its flow and progression, though not so much topic. i love how you chose to tackle this one and make use of every individual line and then some
truly well done
Wonderful! @dawn reef has just pregressed to level 16!
“So we circle around the luminous facade”
beautifully written, as always. love the flow of this one. great job!!
"i, a melting ice, take step on the burning paths" dude
"you, a summer rain, confusing people like childish metaphors in a game"
love the description
"misery, a lost lover. people, a lost cause." DAMN PUFF. honestly love the personification of the words used here, makes it feel more intimate. a new perspective opened.
TRACING WORDS ON THE ABANDONED THROATS
i can quote everything atp
this poem really struck me. it captures the essence of activism, lost causes, and the relentless struggle for change. the imagery of saints leaving an empty space and activists losing their placards but not their voices is powerful. it feels like a lament for a world that’s forgotten the importance of standing up and speaking out. the poem’s reflection on misery and the lost cause of people feels almost like a battle cry for those who still have the strength to trace words on abandoned throats, to speak up for what once was. its a somber reminder of the dreams we might never see realized but continue to fight for.
great job!
Thanks so much Ikari, even tho I'm in my dizzy head town times rn your words reach me gently.
