this poem makes me feel the intense, bittersweet struggle of love. it beautifully captures how love can be both enchanting and deeply painful. the ending, where love demands to either flourish or face drought, hits hard and feels so real. this poem really brings out the complicated emotions tied to love. greatt job!!!!

wow the first line "sipping sweet in a lime world" expresses in a world that is sour, we need a taste of something sweet like love. until the end totally contrasts the beginning, "we fade away from love in a hurry, and run away from its homely guise." shows how it isn't always that easy to find that love in reality. it would've been much better if "guise" was replaced with "disguise" tho. but either way, such a great poem, it shows the reality of love and the baggage it carries.

another tip, pls add punctuations (comma & period) so it's an easier read! 🤍

love this!! i especially love the line ”So in the end we are all nothing but a bruise”. i always love me some bodily metaphors. well written!

oh my GOD i love this
it flows nicely but it doesn’t feel too rigid or too fluid either, by which i mean it’s the perfect balance between the two for this type of poem
i felt this one on a personal level (attacking me with relatable poems smh/j)
overall i think this one really speaks for itself, and i think the use of “a lime world” is a really fascinating metaphor that leaves the reader with something to think about in between everything else
overall really well doneFoxHeadNod
