An endless outcry of confessions went unheard.
Worlds apart yet close to heart.
Like ghosts and dark – we’re close by heart.
Letters too detailed for the rest to bear witness…
You remembered the scent we shared,
Both powerful and fair,
Our arousals and affairs in affectionate cares.
We were inseparable pairs like tables and chairs.
So lord – answer my prayer…
Why is it that their presence wasn’t noticed by us?
Our closeness, our love,
Our hopes and our touch – was it not enough?
Names went forgotten inside solemn lakes,
Frozen tears locked inside our eyes of pain.
Taking a stake and ending a vampiric fate.
Our fangs chipped from the jaw as our pens slipped…
Forbidden from speaking your name,
Uttering in flames as hums were chained…
Tongues enslaved and lungs were blazed;
I am numb from pain – but I succumbed in vain…
A shelf of notes shall remain for self to note.
Every emotion confessed on hold –
As the oceans separated our breaths by rope.
We were left on cliff-hangers as the finale of our show.
