Damn this is real good. I would suggest that, since you’re writing a poem of higher vocab, replace scent with the word “petrichor”. It’s a pretty fancy word, so many areas actually support the word scent like the socks line. Its an artistic choice tho

Best place you could use is like the heart line

This can be interpreted as something too, scent is a pretty simple word and so is washing the socks. Where as love is pretty complicated hence petrichor
