Dark sky, bright stars;
I still hear your voice
In the supernovas above.
It's loud and firm
Shouting a strong swarm.

Dead grass, soft earth;
I wish you were here
To witness the world rebirth.
You're gone up there
Watching every move in despair.

Warm sun, cold moon;
I vanish slowly looking up
Knowing my time is off soon.
You stare back at me
And show nebulas dead to be.

Slow death, fast pulse;
My heart pumps stardust
Yet it turns into a curse.
You're as far as Neptune
And I'm a single moon.

Strong light, weak gloom;
We fought the blackholes
Until we fused into souls.
Our spark has lit up
Shining a deep nebula spot.

I just love space, beautiful poem. And a beautiful rhythm.

The first line of each stanza, has two contradictory subjects, it adds much more depth to the poem, I like it. The prompt is quite interesting, I might say, you have your way of expressing your emotions and you do it pretty perfectly.

I really liked the line "my heart pumps stardust yet it turns into a curse" The juxta is amazing.

The imagery is so vivid. The rhymes are sweet and the rhythm flows smoothly. I liked this one. 8/10.
