I looked down our hands
And our fingers intertwined
They inched towards each other
As the movie played on
Connected in that moment
Cemented in my memory
The moment lives on forever
Glued in my eyes
You laid down on my lap
My fingers in your hair
A steady motion
you squeeze tighter into my arm
you bury your face into my chest
we stay like that for fifteen minutes
neither wanting to let go
our friends walk past the door
laugh, take a picture
we don’t mind
we are one
But we are none
no labels
I want to ask what is this though I refrain
Letting the moment seep into my skin
