I’m trying to explore the problem of ‘knowing what to feel’. For example, when do we have enough information or confidence in our interpretation of a situation to have an emotional reaction?

Its pretty hard, I usually feel there is too much happening and I can't conprehend or decide if its food or bad
So I feel nothing
Same, but I worry that is wrong, but at same time I don’t have a better way, or a good theory on why it feels wrong

So what about writing about overhelming of situations and then explain the feelings?
I want to see if I can find an argument that we should feel even when we don’t know what to feel

Maybe you should divide 2 similar states
1 is that you feel like 50/50
2 you are overwhelmed
In first example your mind is calm
