I want to be successful in my career.
I want to live debtless.
I want to succeed in life.
I want to bring back light to the world.
All of these volitions you want to achieve but did you put any effort to succeed ?

Success is not given, it's earned with a positive mindset and hard work.
Hard work pays off when your successful in life.
If you want to go further and get more opportunities,
stop dilly dallying and start building up yourself for the future.

When you think about your goals and opportunities,
think ahead and choose your decisions wisely.
Sometimes in life a bad decision could lead to a bad reputation,
so think critically on your next course of action !

Don't let no one hold you back from your success.
Don't let friends, family nor foes put you in deficit.
Just be yourself, keep striving and you'll get it.
Good luck in your future endeavours and be the best successor !

You're still young, strong and vibrant,
so stop complaining and whining like Caillou

Only part I find weird is the Cailiou reference at the end. This is mainly because the era is left ambiguous otherwise, so it comes out of nowhere at the end and reminds you that this is a contemporary poem. The shock is surprising, and dulls the message of your poems slightly since the beginning and middle especially hold so much emotional weight.

Aside from that, I like it! It’s a whole bunch of life lessons tied together in one cohesive poem, and serves to motivate the reader. It also paints the poet as a wise and reliable source, given that it sounds similar to what a parent would tell their child.
