It is a ballad if I'm not wrong... And it's a good one... But I would say, it seemed like your thoughts were overpowering the writing. There should be a base but there wasn't... And well... ballads are rhythmical whereas this one was more of just a bundle of thoughts expressed beautifully but not systematically... Overall 8 out of 10. Loved it!
