#Each Fleeting Dance

Twirling me around,
Your hand on my spine
And yet we forget
That you were never mine.
This time is not ours;
A step to the side.
Each fleeting dance
Our souls collide.
Hearts keep spinning,
Yet we know the end.
Yearning for eternity;
For more time spent,
Whispering softly
Between every breath
Music now mellow
Transience loves death
Our dance a cadence,
The rhythm a cage,
Holding in your palm
A love we cannot wage.
All hope is forgone
Yet still we pretend:
Time is this ballroom,
Glass slippers will mend,
Shards cannot hurt,
Cuts never bleed,
One more dance
Is all we need,

Spinning forever,
Forever again.

Woahh this flows so nicely I really love the glass slipper line too it's giving Cinderella vibes and now it's making me think the whole poem is about Cinderella haha, also you mind if I narrate this, the flow is just too good! I would imagine it's said quite quickly, correct me if I am wrong?
