Sparrow Grass, Asparagus’s nifty little nickname, don’t you agree
“Asparagos” the greek origin, meaning “stalk or shoot” I think it’s kinda neat

Asparagus, your long and ancient history mesmerizes me
You are terrific plant and to anyone who thinks different, I disagree
