#Leaning on an Imaginary Pole

this kinda reminds me of the phrase "if you really love them, you would let them go", its like smth my mom would tell me if the topic of "one sided relationships" was being talked abt
think this poem really encapsulates that phrase and even shows what that type of relationship would look like from the perspective of the one giving love
the title really wraps this poem up in a bow because its perfect as hell
That's kinda what it remind me of I was a little nervous in the 3rd paragraph or stanza I think that's what it is could be misinterpreted as narcissistic
But thank you really appreciate it
There is a part two though
This reminds me of Everything, Everything with the last Stanza.
*This reminds me of
Everything, Everything
with the last Stanza.*
that part def reminded me of trying to make it work but it like hurts??? if that makes sense
I feel that it does
like you are so desperate to be loved that you're willing to do ANYTHING to make it work until it pretty much slaps you in the face
thats js my interpretation tho
Yesss that was me but now I am just single
But not sad
queen!
