“Looking blanch” idk what blanch means here, used to it in verb form or as “blanched”

It's a nice poem! Pretty fun and playful
I do wish you had punctuated it though, doing that always adds a nice touch to the poem

I don’t care much for the last stanza- the question about the holiday is neither well put nor addressed. It seems more like a joke than anything but, why is it there?
