Living beings are fascinating things
Little nuances here and there,
Makes the nature a quirky place.
Seeing more of it is like a trance.
We all are a fiddling sea of cells,
Some are prokaryote some or eukaryote,
Under the influance of DNA;
Some have it circular and spreaded in the stoplazm.
Some have it complex and hidden in the nucleus.
Viruses though are another story;
Not innanimate nor alive
Exploiting others to thrive.
We all synthesize protein as well
Like brewing a potion
You throw in some amino acids
And watch RNA do its things
They need help of course
So ATP and enzymes are helping hands
In this magic happening ribosomes premises.
We develop and grow over time,
Cells divide or increase in size to grow
New functionalities are unlocked to develop.
Your body wants to survive
So it needs to be cozy inside
homeostasis is one way to achieve
We pee, sweat and breathe
While plant defoliate
And even protists have contractile voculoes
To keep the water at a healthy limit.
We breath with or without oxygen
and require nourishment
Maybe produce it yourself like the protists or plants
Or take them from outside like fungues, parasites and us
But not all plant photosynthesize
Such as broom grass
Other things that keeps us alive that I cant mention with detail
Because who has time for all?
We breed, adaptate, move, react to impacts
We form organisations, and have metabolisms
And there is death that awaits for all of us
Cycle needs to continue in this fashion
